Materials such as zirconia are difficult to process even with lasers and are notoriously challenging to cut.

We have devised a method of using a 532 nm picosecond laser that allows samples with a thickness of t = 1.0 mm to be cut fully.

The thermal impact on edges and cut surfaces are minimal for high-quality results.
